Canadians Need Inspiration

I'm Canadian, but I have watched the American Election and I just have to express how amazed I am at the outcome. I am so glad that Barak Obama (Democratics=Liberals in Canada) won by A landslide. It's about time that some kind of change is evident in this world. The first african-white american President is a big step for America and hopefully for the rest the world and it's leaders.

Obama had moved and inspired so many Americans and Canadians and that's what makes an Election.
I personally believe that boredom, apathy and lack of inspiration is the reason why most Canadians, especially young Candians, do not vote.

I myself have wrestled with the feeling of "Why bother?" Or "What's the point?"

Maybe all we, as Canadians, need is a true face, a leader who not only preaches and promises leadership and charisma, but actually shows that they have some.

If this country has someone like that, I'd be the first to congratulate them and to cast my vote enthusiastically.

Yes, it is true about President-Elect Obama,he energized 52% of the elgible voters now, can he deliver promises made? proof is in the pudding.I will be honest with you and admit that I did not vote for him but, now that the election is over I pray to God for his success to help America and Americans of every walk of life and political persuasion.
